CLAT 2026 Overview
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 is the national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India. CLAT 2026 is expected to be conducted in December 2025 in an online computer-based mode. Eligibility Criteria
For Undergraduate (UG) Programs:
- Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Minimum aggregate marks: 45% for General category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
- There is no upper age limit for UG programs.
For Postgraduate (PG) Programs:
- Candidate must hold an LLB degree (3-year/5-year course) from a recognized university.
- Minimum aggregate marks: 50% for General category, 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
